Comfort, Warmth, & Stripes

This weekend Ryan and I were blessed by a visit with my mom-in-law, sister-in-law, and nephew. It was so fun hanging out with them all for a little while! It was especially fun watching my nephew interact with Petey. They swiftly became best friends. :) We already knew that Petey would make a great older brother for our own children one day, but watching him with our nephew surely strengthened our belief. :)

We were also blessed to see some of his (our nephew's) very first steps (do not read *his very first*)!

Walking!

Giving his favorite Grandma a loving hug of accomplishment!

The warm weather has passed and the truly fall weather has come to stay. To combat the air's chill I layered a navy tank (Loft) under a long sleeved, striped cardigan (Target). I also wore a black vest (thrifted--Kenneth Cole) for extra warmth! To finish the outfit I wore skinny jeans (Hollister) and leather moccasins (JCrew/Minnetoka).

This one is so you can see my shoes!

How do you keep warm (without getting too hot) during this transitional weather?

  1. Your nephew is too cute! You're lucky to see his first steps, they grow up so quick.
